Wobble One launched in India as the brand’s first smartphone; features MediaTek Dimensity 7400, 50MP cameras, and bloatware-free UI
After catering to the television sector, the homegrown brand, Wobble, has expanded into smartphones with the release of the Wobble One. Owned by Indkal Technologies, the company responsible for resurrecting Acer smartphones in India, Wobble aims to bring professional camera capabilities, premium design, and a clean software experience into the hands of the masses with its first smartphone. The handset comes in multiple storage options and starts at Rs 22,000, placing it alongside the likes of the Moto Edge 60 Fusion and Vivo T4.
Wobble One will be available for purchase starting December 12th from Amazon India and mainline offline retail stores. It will be available in memory options of 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. The colour shades include Mythic White, Eclipse Black, and Odyssey Blue.
Running at the core of the Wobble One is the 4nm-based MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, the same chipset we’ve previously seen on the Moto Edge 60 Fusion, iQOO Z10R, and Infinix GT 30, all priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 23,000. In our testing of the mentioned phones, the phones scored around 9,90,000 in the AnTuTu (v11) benchmark test, indicating strong midrange performance for running games like BGMI and CODM at nominal graphical settings. To instill a premium design, the Wobble One features a metal side frame along with a glass back, something which we don’t often see under Rs 25,000.
The front of the Wobble One is graced by a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, the brand has partnered with Dolby to bring Dolby Vision support to the Wobble One, enabling high brightness and rich details in supported applications, like Netflix. Users can view their photos and videos on this display, captured by the phone’s 50MP 1/1.95″ Sony LYTIA 600 main camera, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera. The main camera is capable of recording videos in up to 4K resolution, aided by the main sensor’s OIS for stability. Upfront, there’s a 50MP selfie camera.
Powering the phone is a 5,000mAh battery, which Wobble claims can offer up to 47 hours of calling, 24 hours of video streaming, and 22 days of standby time. While this capacity should be sufficient for the daily workload, smartphones priced around Rs 22,000 come with battery capacities of at least 6,000mAh and even go up to 7,300mAh. The brand has not yet revealed the charging speeds of the Wobble One.

Now coming to one of the key highlights of the Wobble One, the phone features a clean and bloatware-free software running on Android 15. While the software support policy or update duration hasn’t been revealed yet, having software devoid of unnecessary applications out of the box gives users more storage space to install their preferred applications. Apart from that, the phone packs AI enhancements from Google, enabling users to take advantage of AI features in Google Photos, Gemini, and Circle to Search.
Having attended the Wobble One’s launch event in person, it was evident that the brand is committed to bringing a wide range of “Made in India” consumer electronic products. In a dedicated experience zone, the brand showcased a variety of TVs (one with a 116-inch QD-Mini LED 4K display), tablets, monitors, and laptops. At the same time, its TWS lineup is already listed on Amazon. Wobble is said to bring the aforementioned devices later in the future across various channels.
Even though we’re yet to get our hands on the Wobble One, the device could stand as a valid option among its rivals for its premium design, bloatware-free software, and 50MP rear and front cameras. But considering the brand is catering to the smartphone segment for the first time, waiting for reviews will provide a clearer picture of the device’s day-to-day performance and camera capabilities.
