Xiaomi 12 has been in the news lately with its expected launch around the corner. As the Chinese smartphone manufacturer steps up production for the upcoming Xiaomi 12, new information on the estimated time frame for the launch has come up and the launch is now expected to follow the trail after Qualcomm’s Tech Summit 2021. Qualcomm’s Tech Summit 2021 will take place between November 30th and December 2nd and the company is expected to announce the Snapdragon 898 chipset. The launch of the new Xiaomi 12 might happen right after the Qualcomm event. The flagship is expected to be the first to run on the Snapdragon 898 SoC.
Xiaomi 12 launching soon
Xiaomi has reportedly stepped up its production of the Xiaomi 12. The Xiaomi 12 production details also indicate a launch that’s scheduled sometime soon and might follow the Qualcomm Tech Summit 2021 event. The Qualcomm event plays a pivotal role as the company will be unveiling the Snapdragon 898 chipset that will be fabricated on the 4nm process. The Xiaomi 12 has already been rumoured to be getting the new top-of-the-line silicon.
Digital Chat Station took to Weibo to share some details regarding the production of the Xiaomi 12. DCS has not yet specified the launch date for the Xiaomi 12 but suggests that it’s going to take place sometime next month for the Chinese market. The device is expected to hit the global markets in December. However, there has been no official statements from Xiaomi regarding the same.

Earlier rumours state that the Xiaomi 12 over and above its top-spec Snapdragon 898 SoC will also be benefitting from a 50MP triple camera system and 100W fast charging support. Recently a highlight on the Xiaomi 12’s expected display also suggested that the device could benefit from a 2K AMOLED panel. The device is expected to be teased soon officially as the speculated launch date nears.
