Xiaomi 12 Lite has been officially by the company and going by the name we can speculate it will be the cheaper alternative in the Xiaomi 12 series. This comes just days after the company unveiled the Xiaomi 12S series in China. The teaser image doesn’t reveal the launch date nor the design just yet. However, thanks to the leaked renders, we have an idea of what the phone might look like. We can speculate the phone might go official sometime later this month but the question is will it launch in India?.

The teaser image shows Green, Pink and White colour options, which could be a subtle hint to suggest the phone will be available in these colourways.

Xiaomi 12 Lite specifications

According to leaked specifications, the Xiaomi 12 Lite is said to sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage that might be expandable. The phone is likely to boot Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box.

Coming to the cameras, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will have a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. It is said to feature a 32MP front-facing camera. A 4,300mAh battery with a 67W fast-charging is said to fuel the phone. The phone could have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, NFC, and more.

Xiaomi 12 Lite design

The Xiaomi 12 Lite has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, flat edges and slim bezels. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge but there is nothing on the left spine. The phone should be made available in multiple colour options.

Moving to the back, the Xiaomi 12 Lite has triple cameras arranged in a rectangular layout alongside an LED flash. The leaked renders showed it has a 108MP primary camera on the back panel. The USB Type-C port, SIM tray, primary microphone and speaker grill are at the bottom.
