Two Xiaomi 12 series smartphones — the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro — have been spotted on the TDRA certification website. The lineup was launched in China last year and included the Xiaomi 12, 12X, and 12 Pro models. This means the smartphones are finally stepping out of China and onto the global stage. Previously, we exclusively revealed the Xiaomi 12X India launch, storage, and colour options. We also spotted Xiaomi 12 series on the Geekbench listing, revealing its specifications. The series is tipped to make its India debut by early April.
Xiaomi 12-series TDRA listing, specifications
Xiaomi 12 with model number 2201123G and Xiaomi 12 Pro with model number 2201122G have been spotted (via) in a TDRA listing. However, the Xiaomi 12X is not seen on the list, as seen below in the image.
The Xiaomi 12 series is tipped to debut by early April globally.
As for the 12X, it will come with 8GB RAM and a 128GB/256GB storage option. The smartphone will share specifications with the Xiaomi 12, meaning it will feature a 120Hz 6.28-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging, a 32MP selfie snapper, and 50MP triple cameras. A Snapdragon 870 chipset will power Xiaomi 12X, and the Xioami 12 is likely to pack a Snapdragon 888 processor.
Separately, Xiaomi is also working on a Xiaomi 12 Ultra smartphone. The 12 Ultra comes with Harman Kardon speakers, 50MP Samsung GN5camera, and up to 120x zoom capabilities.
