Xiaomi global launch event 2023: what to expect

Xiaomi has officially confirmed that it will unveil its flagship Xiaomi 13 series smartphones at its upcoming global launch event next week. The lineup will include the regular Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro, along with the Xiaomi 13 Lite model for limited international markets. Both the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro made their debut in China late last year and their global counterparts are expected to come with the same specifications.

The Xiaomi 13 Lite is expected to be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Civi 2 that is available for sale in China. Xiaomi is also gearing up to announce their Watch S1 Pro smartwatch and the Xiaomi Buds 4 truly wireless buds, both of which have already been on sale in the Chinese market.

Apart from bringing new smartphones and IoT devices to the global markets. Xiaomi will also showcase their CyberOne and CyberDog robots at the upcoming MWC 2023. The former is a humanoid robot whereas the latter is a four-legged robot dog. Additionally, the brand will also announce the Xiaomi Electric Scooter Ultra 4 and MIUI 14 operating system.
