What the Xiaomi 13 benchmark reveals
The Geekbench listing reveals the Xiaomi 13 to have scored 1,497 points on single-core performance, and 5,089 points on multi-core performance. The smartphone appears to be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, along with 12GB memory, as per the benchmark listing.
According to the previous rumours that have emerged about the smartphone, the Xiaomi 13 appears to feature a 2K (1440p) resolution display, and the same could be 6.78 inches in size. The flagship smartphone is also tipped to come with a 50MP 1-inch size image sensor powered by a Sony IMX 8-series unit, which would be the primary unit of the rear camera setup. The device is also tipped to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which could also be paired with 120W fast charging.
Previous rumours had stated that the Xiaomi 13 smartphone could instead be rebranded to Xiaomi 14 instead. The rebranding was spotted on the purported retail packaging, showcasing change of plans of the flagship Xiaomi smartphone. However, reports on the matter have remained mixed for now, and it remains to be seen which direction Xiaomi eventually takes with the upcoming flagship smartphone.
