Xiaomi 14 series camera details

According to DCS, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are expected to get improved optical zoom capabilities.
Both the models are tipped to feature a periscope camera setup, which is missing on the current gen models.
The vanilla Xiaomi 14 will have a 3.9x optical zoom and a 90mm focal length.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro will reportedly offer up to 5x optical zoom and a 115mm focal length.
In comparison, the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro offer up to 3.2x optical zoom and 75mm focal length.
The leak from DigitalChatStation doesn’t reveal details of other camera sensors.

Xiaomi 14 series: details we so far know

The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro have been spotted on the IMEI database website.
This revealed the model numbers 23127PN0CC and 23127PN0CG for the vanilla variant and 23116PN5BC and 23116PN5BG for the Pro variant.
The two model numbers for each phone are meant to be for Chinese and Global variants respectively.
A recent leak suggested that Xiaomi 14 Pro will come in two models: the difference is that one will have flat edges while the other with a curved display. Another difference is 90W and 120W fast charging support.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro is rumoured to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and pack a 5000mAh battery with 50W wireless charging support.
The Xiaomi 14 series will debut later this year.
