Xiaomi 14T series launch date officially revealed, alleged hands-on images reveals design

Highlights
  • Xiaomi 14T series will have two models: Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro.
  • The phones will continue to feature Leica camera sensors.
  • The leaked hands-on images show the complete rear design of the phones

The Xiaomi 14T series launch date has been officially confirmed. The phones will arrive as successors to the Xiaomi 13T lineup and will come with Leica co-engineered optics. The Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro will be debuting on September 26th, so we’re around two weeks away from the big unveiling. However, before the announcement, the leaked hands-on videos of the Xiaomi 14T series phones revealed the design.

The phones will feature Leica camera sensors and the silhouette shared by the brand teases the square-camera module on the top-left corner. There is a dedicated launch site on the Xiaomi website but no hardware details are revealed at the moment.

Xiaomi 14T series leaked images

Though no details of the phones are revealed officially by the brand, the void is filled via leaked (now taken down) hands-on videos that emerged on TikTok. However, the screenshots of the video are out in the open. The images clearly show the complete rear design of the phones. We see a large square module on the top-left corner of the back panel, which houses the triple camera sensors, an LED flash and Leica branding.

Compared to the Xiaomi 13T series, the new Xiaomi 14T lineup has a simpler camera sensor layout.

It’s hard to tell which is which from the images but the one with the flat edges and black colour seems to be the Xiaomi 14T Pro, while the regular model appears to have curved edges to the sides. This model seems to be using a glass back panel. There are chances it could be the other way around as well. Since the launch is just a few days away, we should learn more details soon.
