Xiaomi has announced a price cut of Rs 2,000 on its flagship Mi LED TV 4 Pro 55 smart TV in India. The Mi TV model is now available for Rs 47,999 instead of its launch price of Rs 49,999. The new price is effective on Flipkart, Amazon.in, and Mi.com already. The drop in price comes on the back of the launch of Samsung’s new Super6 Series UHD TV lineup launch in the country. The chaebol has released the smart TVs priced between Rs 41,990 and Rs 61,990 to take on the likes of Xiaomi and Vu.
Coming back to Xiaomi’s Mi LED TV 4 Pro, it’s touted as the world’s thinnest LED TV – measuring 4.9mm at its thinnest edge. The thickest part which houses all the internal is at the lower part, which measures 48mm in thickness. The TV comes with a 55-inch 4K “frameless” display with visibly thin bezels, 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution, and 178-degree wide viewing angle. The display also boasts of 60Hz refresh rate and response time of 8 milliseconds.
The TV also ships with two 8W speakers with Dolby Audio support and offers connectivity ports such as two USB 2.0 ports, three HDMI ports, one Ethernet port, one AV port, and one S/PDIF port. It also supports Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi for wireless connectivity. At the core of Mi LED TV 4 Pro lies quad-core Amlogic Cortex A53 CPU coupled with Mali-450MP GPU, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Other features include PatchWall with Android TV, supports Google Assistant for voice search, 7,00,000+ hours of content on its platform.
