Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro China launch confirmed, design and colours officially revealed

Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of the Civi 5 Pro for the Chinese market. The smartphone will debut as the successor to the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro. This phone arrived as Xiaomi 14 Civi in India last year. The brand made the launch announcement through its social media handles. The company executives have also teased further details about the upcoming Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro.

Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro confirmed details

Xiaomi has revealed on Weibo (Chinese microblogging platform) that its upcoming device with the “Little 15” internal codename will be the most powerful Civi phone to date.
Lu Weibing, partner of Xiaomi, confirms that the device will compete with the standard iPhone in the Chinese market. He added that it will feature upgrades across the processor, display, battery, cameras, and more.

Xiaomi has yet to confirm the device’s exact launch date. However, online leaks suggest it may go official in China on May 22nd.
The posters reveal that the device will be available in four colours, including black, purple, beige, and white.
The smartphone will feature a circular camera module housing three lenses. The Leica branding and a dual LED flash will be present beside the camera deco. It also mentions aperture values of f/1.63 and f/2.2, which are expected to correspond to the main and ultrawide cameras.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the device will feature a 50MP front-facing camera.

Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro leaked specifications

Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster on Weibo, recently revealed that it will be powered by the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. The smartphone also appeared on the Geekbench listing with 16GB of RAM. It also confirms that it will boot Android 15 out of the box.
The Civi 5 Pro will flaunt a 1.5K quad narrow screen with a pill shaped punch hole cutout. The telephoto camera on the device will include a 50MP camera with a 60mm focal length.
The device will house a large 6,000+mAh battery, which is a massive upgrade from its predecessor. It was listed on the 3C certification, which hints at support for 67W fast charging tech.
The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro might launch globally under the Xiaomi 15 Civi marketing name, following the pattern of its predecessor, the Civi 4 Pro.

Will Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro launch in India?

Considering the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro was launched in India as the Xiaomi 14 Civi, there’s a good chance that the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro could arrive as the Xiaomi 15 Civi. However, this is mere speculation at the moment since there is no official confirmation or rumoured surrounding the Xiaomi 15 Civi.
