
Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro could be in the works as a successor to the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro. It is said to come with the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, and much like the predecessor, it may emphasise cameras. The latest leak on Weibo, courtesy of DigitalChatStation, sheds light on some key specs and the launch timeline of the possible Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro. Here are the details.

- Tipster DigitalChatStation on Weibo, without explicitly mentioning the name, has shed light on the launch timeline and key specifications like the battery, camera and display.
- The handset in question is believed to be the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro.
- The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro is said to debut in China this month, i.e. May. If true, we should start hearing from the brand in the next few days.

- The tipster notes the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro will come with a 1.5K quad narrow screen, but the display size hasn’t been mentioned at the moment.
- The phone is reiterated to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
- On the camera front, the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro could house a 50MP telephoto lens for zoom images.
- DCS says the Xiaomi phone could pack a 6,000mAh+ battery. This is an upgrade over the 4,700mAh cell on the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro.
The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro was previously said to come with dual-selfie cameras in a pill-shaped cutout, much like the predecessor. The cameras will continue to have Leica branding. The back panel of the phone is said to house a fibreglass material and a metal sideframe design. The phone is said to carry a price tag of CNY 3,000 (around Rs 35,200).
To recall, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro debuted in India as Xiaomi 14 Civi at Rs 38,999. It remains to be seen whether the brand will continue the same pattern for the successor as well.
