Xiaomi is reportedly gearing up to launch a new eSports monitor in China. A new research note by IHS Markit, spotted by IT Home, suggests it could be a curved display monitor with a 34-inch screen and QHD+ resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio. The display is also tipped to come with 144Hz refresh rate and will be assembled by Century Innovative (Inno & Cn). From the looks of it, it’s evident that Xiaomi monitor is aimed at gamers and it is said to launch in November later this year. However, nothing beyond this has been revealed yet, but we should know more details soon.
Additionally, the Xiaomi eSports monitor can also be used as an extension of the Xiaomi game platform (Millet Tour Center). Xiaomi off lately has been focusing on gaming-related products. The brand recently launched the Mi Gaming Laptop 2019 that is powered by the latest 9th-generation Intel Core i5-9300H running at 2.4GHz powering the base variant, up to 16GB RAM, and 15.6-inch full HD display, which offers 81 percent screen-to-body ratio. It provides a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth frame scrolling and enhanced gameplay experience.
Xiaomi also launched a gamepad for the Redmi K20 Pro smartphone and is also backing Black Shark brand which launched gaming smartphones. Since e-sports gaming monitor China’s launch is not until November, we are bound to come across more details in the coming next few weeks.
