Xiaomi is all set to launch multiple products at its upcoming 2018 Annual Product Launch Event, speculated to be held on May 31st. At the same event, the brand is also expected to launch its flagship Mi 7 and the 8th Anniversary Edition phone – the Xiaomi Mi 8. Now ahead of the launch, both smartphone been spotted on China’s 3C certification website as well as FCC in the US.

Xiaomi 8 W3C

On 3C, the phones have been spotted with model numbers – M1805E2A and M1803E1A. It is expected that these two are the upcoming flagships from the brand. According to the 3C listing, these smartphones will come with MDY-08-ES power adapter and 5V3A / 9V2A / 12V1.5A support with up to 20W charging output.

Talking about the Xiaomi Mi 8, the smartphone was recently spotted in a leaked hands-on video showcasing the under-display fingerprint scanner. Prior to that, the retail box of the smartphone, as well as the image of its front panel, were spotted on the Internet.

Later, a leaked render of the smartphone revealed that it might come with an all-glass premium build and a dual-camera module at the back. The Mi 8 is speculated to be the first smartphone to come with a 3D face recognition system. Apart from this, the handset is speculated to ship with the all-powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and a 4,000mAh battery.

At this point, no further information about these devices is available. Although we might not have to wait too long to know what Xiaomi’s forthcoming flagships bring to the table.
