xiaomi_mi_8_pro_2 Xiaomi has already teased the Android Pie based MIUI 10 update for Mi 8 SE and Mi 8, so the same for Mi 8 Pro shouldn’t come as a surprise for anyone. The date listed on the certification website is of November 1st, so the brand might still be testing the build on the flagship device. While there is no confirmed date for the rollout of the update, it is expected to come soon. As for the region, the smartphone has not been launched anywhere but China and Taiwan as of now, so it is likely to be the Chinese variant of the MIUI 10 interface. Further, Xiaomi has listed the Mi 8 Pro in the first tier list of the MIUI 10 Android Pie rollout, which means other Xiaomi handsets won’t receive the same until next year.

To recap specs, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro comes with a 6.21-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2,240 x 1,080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9.
