“Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro is expected to come with 6.39-inch display, Snapdragon 855 SoC and, up to 8GB RAM”
Earlier this month Xiaomi went ahead and unveiled the regular Mi 9T smartphone at an event in Madrid, Spain. Though the Mi 9T Pro was also expected to launch alongside, the Pro variant was not announced at the event. However, we might soon be getting official announcement for this variant as the alleged handset has now received Bluetooth certification. The listing reveals the phone has model number M1903F11G and Mi 9T moniker. As previously noted, the Mi 9T is a rebadged Redmi K20 Pro for global markets with the exact same design and specifications.
Furthermore, while the Bluetooth certification doesn’t reveal any specifications, the recent Geekbench listing confirmed few details. The flagship is expected to feature a 6.39-inch super AMOLED full-HD+ display and be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC with Adreno 640 GPU taking care of graphics. The handset has been tipped to feature up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB non-expandable storage. It is likely to boot Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 skin on top with Game Turbo 2.0 mode to boost gaming performance.
As for the camera, the Mi 9T Pro is expected to feature triple camera setup at the rear with a 48MP f/1.7 primary snapper, a 13MP f/2.4 secondary shooter, and an 8MP telephoto f/2.4 sensor. On the front, there is a 20MP f/2.0 pop-up camera for selfies and video chats. Other features onboard include Hi-Res Audio and DC Dimming features. With the phone clearing certifications, one can hope the launch might be right around the corner in Europe. Xiaomi is also confirmed to launch the Redmi K20 Pro smartphone in India in the next four weeks under the same moniker.
