A day after teasing the launch, Xiaomi announced the Mi AirPOP anti-pollution mask in India today. The company confirmed the news on its official Twitter account where it posted “Beat the pollution with Mi AirPOP PM2.5 Anti-Pollution Mask!.” The mask is said to filter particulate matters up to 2.5 level assuring that you breathe nothing but clean air.

Xiaomi Mi AirPOP PM2.5 anti-pollution mask price, availability
The Xiaomi Mi AirPOP PM2.5 anti-pollution mask has been priced in India at Rs 249 for a pack of two. The mask is available in just black colour option, and it goes for sale across the country on the company’s official website Mi.com starting today.

Xiaomi claims that the Mi AirPOP PM2.5 anti-pollution mask is comfortable to wear and its snug fit design allows the mask to automatically mould to the sides of your nose. It is allegedly made of non-woven micro-filtration material that is soft, light and skin-friendly.
The mask also features “double particle protection” and four-layer filtration process. The first layer blocks out large particles, while the second layer supports mesh for 3D structure. The third and fourth layers block out particles that are less than 0.3 microns in diameter and reduce vapour respectively. The Mi AirPOP pollution mask is also touted to come with large Vortex valve that reduces eyeglass fogging while blocking out pollutants.
Lastly, according to the company, the Mi AirPOP mask can be used for 15 hours, and the two packs of the mask can last a whole month.
