“The Mi Band 3 ships with 0.78-inch OLED display and is said to offer 20-days battery back up”
Just a few days back, Xiaomi shared a teaser for the launch of a series of new ‘Smart Living’ products in India. Today, the company has gone ahead and confirmed that one of these products will be the latest Mi Band 3. Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director of Xiaomi India, confirmed the news with a tweet where he wrote, “Excited that we are about to launch the next Mi Band in India next week,” i.e. September 27th.
Exactly 1 year ago we launched a new fitness band – Mi Band HRX! Within a short period, it became the No. 1 wearable device in India.

The specifications of the Mi Band 3 are going to be the same as the one that was launched in China earlier this year. The successor to the Mi Band 2 is shipped with a 0.78-inch OLED display and NFC feature (optional). Apart from the usual fitness features like steps count and tracking heartbeats, the wearable also integrates motion tracking and health management features. The band is said to be water-resistant and can survive underwater up to 50-meters.
Xiaomi claims that the Mi Band 3 comes with a battery back up of 20-days. Moreover, you can pair the wearable with a smartphone, and view notifications alert from various apps, see the caller ID, and also mute the call from the band itself.
The Mi Band 3 is available in China in three hues: Black, Blue and Pink straps. It retails in the Chinese market at the equivalent of Rs 1,800 and Rs 2,100 for the NFC variant of the Mi Band 3.
