Xiaomi is all set to unveil its new CC series smartphones called the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e in its home market of China on July 2nd. Ahead of the unveiling, a few photos and specifications of the upcoming phones were recently leaked. Notably, the company also posted a promotional video for the Mi CC9. Now, the Chinese tech giant has confirmed two key specifications of the smartphone.
On the Chinese social networking website Weibo, Xiaomi has revealed that the Mi CC9 will be equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone will also offer improved Beauty mode, which will “restore the natural skin texture” and will “record the beauty of each moment”, as per the Weibo post. In addition, the company has also announced that there will be a 48-megapixel Sony primary camera at the rear.
Xiaomi CC9 specifications
According to earlier reports, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 will have a 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED display and boot Android Pie-based MIUI 10 out of the box. The smartphone is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor. The phone will come in three RAM and storage variants – 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. The device is tipped to offer a triple camera setup at the rear with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 camera, a 16-megapixel secondary snapper, and a 12-megapixel third sensor. The smartphone is said to offer an in-display fingerprint sensor and a waterdrop notch above the screen. The phone will come with a 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. The other rumoured Xiaomi CC9 specifications include an IR blaster, a USB Type-C port, and Hi-Res audio support.
According to the reports, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 will be available at a starting price of around Rs 26,000 for the base variant, which will go up to approx. Rs 31,000 for the most high-end model. We will have more details in a week.
