“Xiaomi Mi CC9 is expected to come with 6.39-inch AMOLED full-HD+ display and be powered by the Snapdragon 730 SoC”
Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e smartphones in China on July 2nd. It is confirmed that both the handsets are mid-range offerings and will have camera-centric features. The renders of Mi CC9 have been shared by the company, revealing vertically-arranged triple rear cameras, similar to a Xiaomi M1904F3BC smartphone that was spotted at TENAA recently. Now, as we wait for the launch, two other smartphones, with model numbers M1904F3BT and M1906F9SC, have also been certified by China’s regulatory.
The TENAA listing suggests the Xiaomi M1904F3BT variant could sport a 6.39-inch AMOLED full-HD+ display with 1,080 x 2,340 screen resolution and pack an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security. It could be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor and will be offered in three variants — 4GB RAM + 64GB, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. In terms of optics, the handset is expected to feature triple rear cameras with a 48MP primary sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP snapper on the front. Previous rumours suggested that the handset could pack a 3,940mAh battery. The Xiaomi Mi CC9 will likely be made available in Black, Red, Blue, Pink, White, Green, Purple, and Gray colour options.
On the other hand, another Xiaomi Mi CC smartphone with model number M1906F9SC has also been certified by TENAA and appears to be variant of the Mi CC9e. The listing reveals the phone will have a 6.08-inch display and that the smartphone will pack a 3940mAh battery, similar to Mi CC9. The handset measures 153.47 x 71.85 x 8.475mm. Both the smartphones are likely to ship with Android 9.0 Pie-based MIUI 10 out of the box. With the launch just a few days away, we should know more details soon.
