Xiaomi confirms 960fps slow-motion video recording for Mi Mix 3; posts another teaser video

Xiaomi is all set to unveil its next-gen Mi Mix series flagship, the Mi Mix 3, at an event in China on October 25th. Ahead of the unveiling, we’ve already seen a number of leaks and reports regarding the smartphone. Now just a couple of days ahead of the launch, the company has released a couple of new teasers for the handset, which has revealed some of the phone’s features. In addition, Xiaomi’s global spokesperson, Donovan Sung has announced that the Mi Mix 3 will flaunt slow-motion video recording.

As per Sung, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will boast slo-mo video recording at 960 frames per second. With the Mi Mix 3, the company will join the club of manufacturers like Samsung, Huawei, and Sony by offering 960fps recording. Unfortunately, there’s no word regarding which camera sensor the company will be employing on the Mi Mix 3 at the moment.

Another teaser video of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 shows the phone’s slider design in motion. The teaser shows that the slider of the smartphone will work easily, and might not have any issues over a long period of usage. The teaser also confirms that the phone will come with a dual 24-megapixel selfie camera setup.

Earlier, Xiaomi revealed that the Mi Mix 3 will be featuring a whopping 10GB of RAM and support for 5G network connectivity. The smartphone is expected to come with a Super AMOLED display. Powering the handset will be a Snapdragon 845 SoC. We expect the device to come in 128GB and 256GB storage variants. Sadly, there’s no word regarding the pricing at the moment.
