“Xiaomi could either introduce a new version of the existing MIX 3 in China or announce a price cut”
Xiaomi confirmed that it wouldn’t launch any Mi Max and Mi Note phones in 2019, leaving Mi, MIX, and the new CC in the clear. The Chinese giant had already unveiled the Mi 9 series and is gearing up to introduce the CC series in China on July 2nd. Now, Xiaomi Mi MIX Weibo page released a poster image stating that it’d make a MIX-series related announcement later today. Since the company hasn’t teased or talked openly about MIX 4, it wouldn’t reveal any key details about the flagship out of nowhere. This means Xiaomi could either introduce a new version of the existing MIX 3 in China or announce a price cut. We should know more details in the next few hours.
Xiaomi already announced the Mi MIX 3 5G variant for the European markets at the MWC 2019 show earlier this year. While it retained the design and basic specifications, it ships with the mighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and X50 modem for 5G connectivity. Xiaomi claimed the handset could deliver up to 2Gbps+ download speed and can download a 15-second HD video in one second.
As for the Mi MIX 4, the flagship is said to pack 16GB of RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and 1TB storage. It is reported to feature a 64-megapixel primary camera at the rear and sport an AMOLED 2K HDR10+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is tipped to be fuelled by a 4,500mAh battery with 100W fast-charging technology support in wired mode and 50W in wireless mode. Quite obviously, it is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with Adreno 640 GPU. Since none of the specifications are from the official sources, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.
