“Mi Note 10 Lite retains most of the specifications of the Mi Note 10, including the chipset, display size, and battery capacity”
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is the company’s premium flagship from 2019 that comes with a 108MP penta-camera setup, an AMOLED display, and more. Now, in 2020, it looks like the Chinese brand is gearing up to introduce a ‘Lite’ version of the smartphone, dubbed as the Mi Note 10 Lite. The handset with model number M2002F4LG has appeared on FCC, revealing its key specifications. To recall, the regular Mi Note 10 has model number M1910F4G. The Mi Note 10 Lite retains most of the specifications of the Mi Note 10, including the chipset, display size, and battery capacity. However, there should be some compromises in terms of build quality.
Mi Note 10 Lite specifications
According to the FCC listing, the Mi Note 10 Lite smartphone with model number M2002F4LG is said to have the same display as the Mi Note 10, meaning a 6.47-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with curved edges. The smartphone is listed as powered by the same as that of the Note 10, referring to Snapdragon 730G gaming SoC with Adreno 618 GPU. In terms of optics, the Mi Note 10 Lite will have a 64MP primary sensor in place of the 108MP unit and is accompanied by a couple of 8MP snappers, a 5MP unit, and a 2MP sensor. However, noted tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore claims the Mi Note 10 Lite will only have a single 8MP sensor.
For selfies, the 32MP unit on the regular Mi Note 10 will be swapped with a 16MP unit. The Mi Note 10 Lite is said to boot Android 10 OS with MIUI 11 custom skin and pack a 5,260mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. There should a side-mounted or rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Unfortunately, not much is known about its design or launch timeline yet. We should know more details about the said Mi Note 10 Lite going forward if it’s indeed in the works.
