“Xiaomi’s latest laptops feature up to Intel Core i7 processors”
Xiaomi has been adding new members to its laptop portfolio quite frequently. Last year in September, the brand launched the Mi Notebook Pro in China. In March this year, the company unveiled the 15.6-inch gaming laptop with Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics. Now the company has released the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 2 in China, along with the Mi Gaming Laptop.
Talking about the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 2 first, the laptop features a 15.6-inch display and comes in two models. The top-most variant offers an Intel Core i7-8750H processor clubbed with 16GB of RAM. For storage, the machine ships with 256GB of SSD storage. In the graphics department, it offers NVIDIA GTX-1050 Max-Q graphics with 4GB of GDDR5 memory. The affordable version offers an Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage, along with NVIDIA GTX-1050 Max-Q 6GB graphics card.
As for the Xiaomi Mi Gaming Laptop, the new model ships with 15.6-inches full HD display and is available in four different configurations. The key highlights include Intel Core i5 / i7 processors, up to 16GB of RAM, 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD, and up to NVIDIA GTX 1060 / 1050 GPU. The laptop tips the scale at 2.7kgs and has a thickness of 20.9mm.
The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 2 is being offered at a starting price of RMB 6,299 (~ Rs 63,000) in China. As for the Mi Gaming Laptop, its prices start at RMB 6,699 (~ Rs 67,000). The laptops are available for pre-orders on the brand’s website in the home country.
