Xiaomi has launched the Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P in India as the company furthers expands its Mi ecosystem product line-up. The smart vacuum cleaner was initially introduced in China back in August 2019. The Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P features a 2-in-1 sweeping and mopping function, Smart App Control and an LDS (laser distance sensor) Navigation System that smartly maps your home, among other things. It has twelve different sensors to prevent the vacuum from falling down, colliding with obstacles, and finding the dock or stops functioning as soon it is blocked. The Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P Robovac price in India is set at Rs 17,999 after a special discount of Rs 7,000 and is currently up for crowdfunding on the company’s website. Shipments will begin on September 15th, 2020 and Xiaomi is also offering no-cost EMI option.
The Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P ships with Japanese NIDEC brushless motor that produces maximum airflow of 0.67m3/min and a maximum pressure of about 1800Pa. The LDS laser routing sensor scans 360-degree continuously with a range of up to eight meters. This combined with the SLAM mapping positioning algorithm allows the vacuum cleaner to plan smartly by itself, get used to the house, scrub the background in a circular pattern that mimics the manual mopping movement by scanning.
There are a large 2-in-1 water container and 550ml dust bag and is equipped with three cleaning modes: vacuum cleaning, mopping, suction and wipe modes. It supports carpet, ceramic tile, marble floor, shag carpet, tile floor types. The Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor with dual-core Mali 400GU and has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa and has a 3,200mAh battery that offers up to 130 minutes of running time.
