“The Mi Security Camera with an f/2.1 wide aperture lens and 360-degree viewing angle”
Xiaomi today hosted its Smarter Living launch event in India. At the gathering, the Chinese manufacturer launched a slew of products, including its next-gen Mi LED smart TVs and the latest fitness band — Mi Band 3. Apart from that, Xiaomi also announced a smart security camera, dubbed as the Mi Security Camera 360 in India.
Coming to the specifications, the Mi Security Camera 360 delivers Full HD (1,080p) image quality. The camera sensor has a wide aperture lens of f/2.1, backed by Infrared night vision to record details even in low light. Moreover, the security camera comes with H.265 video coding technology, which is said to provide smooth and detailed images.
The Mi Security Camera offers 360-degree PTZ panoramic view and supports storage via microSD card of up to 64GB. Other features include Wi-Fi connectivity, two-way voice communication, and AI-enhanced motion detection feature. Lastly, the camera measures 118 x 78 x 78mm and can be placed at home in the desktop, windowsill and bedside, or installed on roofs, walls, etc.
Xiaomi has priced the Mi Home Security Camera at Rs 2,699. The device goes on sale from 10th October, Midnight, exclusively on Amazon, Mi.com and Mi retail outlets.
