Xiaomi Mi TV 4 with bezel-less 65-inch 4K screen and HDR 10 support launched

Xiaomi has expanded its smart TV lineup with the launch of the new Mi TV 4 65″ in its home market, China. The television is the latest model in the company’s Mi TV 4 lineup, which also includes the 55-inch and 75-inch options. Just like its siblings, the new Mi TV 4 65″ also flaunts a near bezel-less display and ultra-thin design with its edges measuring 7.5mm.

Coming to the specifications, the 65-inch screen of the Mi TV 4 sports a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels with HDR 10 support. The panel also supports a dynamic response of 8ms, 60Hz refresh rate, and a 178-degree viewing angle. At its core, the TV is powered by 64-bit 1.5GHz Amlogic chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. Like other Mi TV models, it runs the Android-based Patchwall UI with Xiao AI integration and voice command support.

The TV’s rear panel sports a stainless steel design with a brushed metal finish and blue-green line that runs on the edges for a classy Xiaomi dual-tone finish. As for the speakers, the Mi TV 4 houses two 8W speakers with DTS HD and Dolby Audio technology. The television boots Xiaomi’s PatchWall UI that also offers voice assistant feature. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an S/PDIF port, AV input ports, and an antenna port. 

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 65″ has been priced at RMB 5,999 (~Rs 63,399), making it slightly more expensive than its sibling 55″ model. The former will go for sale in China starting October 28th and its pre-order begins from October 26th.
