Xiaomi, aka the Apple of China, has added a new Mi TV 4A 58-inch model to its smart TV portfolio. The company took the wraps off the smart TV on its home soil, China. The new Mi TV 4A variant is one of the high-end versions in the category, which also include the 65-inch, 55-inch, 49-inch, 43-inch, and 32-inch models.
Coming to the specifications, the 58-inch screen of the Mi TV 4A comes with 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) resolution, and thin borders around the display. Xiaomi claims that the TV also supports a contrast ratio of 5000:1, a refresh rate of 60Hz, HDR 10 and viewing angle of 178-degree. At the core, the Mi TV 4A 58-inch model employs a 64-bit quad-core Amlogic T962 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and integrated with Mali 450 750MHz GPU. The SoC is paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of flash memory.
On the software side, the new Mi TV 4A 58-inch comes pre-loaded with Xiaomi’s PatchWall artificial Intelligence backed UI. In terms of connectivity, the smart TV comes with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, three HDMI ports, two USB ports and antenna as well as AV input for gaming and screencast. It also supports voice input with AI integration. Lastly, the TV features two 8W speakers, and supports both UHD HLG and Dolby Vision formats for audio.
As for the price, the Mi TV 4A 58-inch has been announced for RMB 2,999 (~Rs 31,600). While the product will go for sale from October 28th in China, the pre-booking is already live via the Xiaomi China site. Unfortunately, Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the India launch of Mi TV 4A 58-inch model as of now.
