Mi TV Horizon Edition is set to launch with PatchWall UI, slim bezels, and a Quick Wake feature

  • Xiaomi will launch the Mi TV Horizon Edition in India soon
  • The Mi TV Horizon Edition will run PatchWall UI
  • The teaser shows that the Mi TV will come with extremely thin bezels

Xiaomi launched its Mi Notebook Horizon Edition laptop in India earlier this year and now the brand has teased the launch of the Mi TV Horizon Edition in the country. Considering that Mi TV Horizon Edition has not been launched in any territory by the brand as of now, we don’t know the complete specifications or features that the smart TV will offer. However, the brand has confirmed that the Mi TV Horizon Edition will be launched in India on September 7th. The teaser page for the upcoming Mi TV has already gone live and teases some features.

On the teaser page of the Horizon Edition TV, the brand says that the upcoming model comes with ‘Quintessential Display Tech’ that has been “tuned to perfection” and is easy on the eyes. As you might expect, the TV will run on PatchWall UI, just like all the other Mi TVs in the market. If you hated the long booting process of the Mi TV 4X, you would be delighted to know that the Mi TV Horizon Edition will come with a ‘Quick Wake’ feature, which has previously been seen on Android TVs. As the name might already suggest, the Quick Wake feature will boot up the TV much faster.

Unfortunately, that’s all that the teaser page shares as of now. There is a design teaser included on the page as well, which suggests that the Mi TV Horizon Edition will come with extremely thin bezels around the display. In case you are interested in the product and want to get the availability details right away, you can choose the ‘Notify Me’ option given on the page. There are no details regarding the pricing or even the display size options (if multiple) that will be available just yet.
