“POCO has received feedbacks of the POCO F1 users and is sorting out issues with the phone’s software”
Earlier this year in August, Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched its first smartphone called the POCO F1 (review) in India. The handset arrived as the most affordable Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC-powered smartphone in the country. Just like Xiaomi phones, the POCO F1 also boots Android-based MIUI custom ROM. Since the launch, the handset’s users have been experiencing issues with the phone’s software. However, the company has been taking user experience and fixing the bugs of the handset.
Now, after taking the user feedback, the POCO team has released the 10 most asked questions and answers regarding the bugs and issues with the POCO F1’s software. Also, the company will be rolling out an update soon, which will fix some of the bugs that are mentioned below. First of all, the brand said that it is investigating the Widevine L1 bug to support HD video. This will bring HD video streaming support on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and other major platforms. The Asphalt 9 game is now compatible with the smartphone as the brand has fixed its bug.
Moving on, now users can zoom while playing videos as its bug has also been fixed. The issues related to the Status bar like battery percentage, notifications app icons, and network speed display are currently being ironed out. The brand mentioned that it will consider the design adjustment for “hide notch display feature UI complain” raised by the phone’s users. The company is currently investigating the issue regarding the support for 4K video recording at 60fps.
Currently, the “Ok Google” voice command doesn’t work on the POCO F1, but the brand will be releasing a fix in the next update. Lastly, the issues regarding PUBG game audio issue will also be fixed in the upcoming software version.
