Xiaomi is all set to launch the successor to Redmi Note 5 Pro (review) — the Redmi Note 6 Pro (first impressions) — in India today. The Redmi Note 5 Pro was one of the most popular smartphones in the mid-range segment and by that virtue, the latest device comes in as a much-anticipated launch.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro price in India, specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a 6.26-inch full HD+ display and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC ticking at its core. The smartphone will be offered in two RAM and storage configurations of 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB. As for the cameras, the Redmi Note 6 Pro offers 20MP + 2MP setup on the front and a pair of 12MP + 5MP snappers on the rear. On the software front, the handset comes with the latest MIUI 10 based on Android Oreo. For security, you get a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner along with the face unlock functionality. Powering the phone is a 4,000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
Xiaomi has already announced that the Redmi Note 6 Pro will go up for sale in India in its first-ever Black Friday Sale on November 23rd. As of now however, there is no word on the pricing.
