Xiaomi-backed Yi technology has launched the Yi Smart Dash Camera, expanding the company’s portfolio, which so far included the Yi Action Camera, Yi 4K Action Camera, and Yi Home Security Camera. The new Yi Smart Dash Camera can be attached to the windscreen of the car and have it record while you drive. It comes with ‘Advanced Driver Assistant System’ that pushes out real-time warnings to drivers and the lane departure warnings alerts them when they are moving out of the lane. The collision warning system warns users of a collision if the vehicle ahead slows down or stops.

The Yi Smart Dash Camera sports a 2.7-inch 16:9 full HD screen to let the users watch the recorded content. It also comes with Wi-Fi support that enables streaming of live video from the dash camera. The Yi Smart Dash Camera features a 165-degree field-of-view and is capable of recording videos at 1080p 60fps and 30fps. There is also a provision for microSD card slot to store all the recorded footage. 

Yi Smart Dash Camera rocks a G-Sensor that allows the camera to record and save clips in emergencies automatically. It measures 17 x 11.2 x 6.1 cm and weighs 295 grams. It is priced at Rs 5,200, including a Rs 699 introductory discount and is available on Amazon.in in Space Grey colour.
