Towards the end of the year 2017, Indian smartphone maker XOLO launched a trio of phones – the Era 3X (first impressions), the Era 2V and the Era 3. The Era series was a brand-new lineup intended for the selfie enthusiasts on a budget. Now, the handset maker has gone ahead and silently launched the successor to the Era 3X called the Era 4X in the country.
XOLO Era 4X price in India, availability
The latest budget selfie offering from the brand has been silently listed on Amazon India today. The landing page of the XOLO Era 4X reveals that the smartphone will go on sale in the country starting January 9th. The page also mentions the starting price to be Rs 4,444, which means we can expect more than variant of the entry-level offering. The graphics on he website show a rose gold variant, however, more colours might be in the offing. We will get to know more on January 9th, when it goes on sale. Amazon India is also offering 30 days money back offer with the handset.
XOLO Era 4X specifications, features
The XOLO Era 4X comes packing an impressive spec sheet for the price that it comes for. The fascia of the phone is home to a 5.4-inch display with an HD+ screen resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is further protected by a layer of 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass of an unspecified generation. The rear panel is home to an 8-megapixel shooter and a 5-megapixel secondary camera on the front for selfies and video calling. On the software front, the smartphone will boot the last generation Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
While we couldn’t located a fingerprint scanner on the smartphone, the listing reveals that it will have face unlock for security. Further, the Era 4X will come with a 3,000mAh battery with AI technology for preserving the battery life.
