YU Yunique 2 with 5-inch HD display and 13MP camera launched for Rs 5,999

Micromax’s subsidiary YU Televentures has launched the YU Yunique 2 smartphone, which comes as the successor to the YU Yunique (review). Similar to its predecessor, the Yunique 2 is also a budget entry-level offering with 4G LTE and VoLTE support.

The YU Yunique 2 features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass on top. It boots Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, mated to 2GB of RAM.

The Yunique 2 comes with 16GB of storage, further expandable up to 64GB by inserting a microSD card. The camera department includes a 13-megapixel rear snapper with an LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front shooter. A 2,500mAh battery keeps the handset alive.

The YU Yunique 2 has been priced at Rs 5,999. The phone comes in Champagne Gold and Coal Black hues, and will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting July 27th.
