“This is the first spotting of the upcoming ZTE flagship on Geekbench.”
The ZTE Axon 9 Pro isn’t exactly six months old, but it seems ZTE is in a hurry to announce the successor to the current flagship, as a benchmark listing of what could be the ZTE Axon 10 Pro has popped up on the World Wide Web today. The listing appeared on benchmarking platform Geekbench today with the model number “ZTE ZTE A2020 Pro”.
The ZTE Axon 9 Pro came with the model number – ZTE A2019G Pro – which would make anyone assume that the new A2020 model is its successor given the similar number sequence. As far as the listing is concerned, it unsurprisingly shows the ZTE Axon 10 Pro rocking a Snapdragon 855 SoC since it is a flagship and the ZTE Axon 9 Pro rocks a Snapdragon 845 chip. Furthermore, the handset is running Android Pie and is equipped with 6GB of RAM. If you’re interested in scores, the 3824 points are for the single-core test and 10762 for the multi-core test which is similar to what we’ve seen on other Snapdragon 855-toting phones up till now.
This is the first sighting of the ZTE Axon 10 Pro and hence there’s little more info (besides what we shared) about the smartphone right now. However, considering the ZTE Axon 9 Pro was a high-end flagship, we can safely say that its successor will have the same goodies as well. That includes an AMOLED display, wireless charging, IP68 ratings, the stereo speakers, Quick Charge 4+ and hopefully a renovated design without a notch. If ZTE is planning a refresh in six months, we could see some concrete info coming soon, if not, then there are at least a couple of months before we start to see some legit information regarding the ZTE Axon 10 Pro.
