ZTE has unveiled a new 5G smartphone, its third overall, called ZTE Axon 11 5G. The handset is a mid-range Android-powered offering that supports dual-mode 5G (SA and NSA) – owing to the Snapdragon 765G chipset – which comes with integrated 5G modem. Additionally, the ZTE Axon 11 5G has quad rear cameras that tout 64MP primary sensor and a curved AMOLED screen with dot notch for the selfie camera atop and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The phone dons a sleek glass and aluminium frame, a beefy battery cell, and support for Quick Charge 4.0+ as well.
ZTE Axon 11 5G price, availability
The ZTE Axon 11 5G has been priced at 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version for the RMB 2,698 (~Rs Rs 29,000) in China. The handset also comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage options, which costs RMB 2,998 (~Rs 32,000) and RMB 3,398 (~Rs 36,000). The ZTE Axon 11 5G pre-order is already underway in China in black and white hues. The official sale date hasn’t been revealed yet.
ZTE Axon 11 5G specifications
The ZTE Axon 11 5G ships with 6.47-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a notch atop, in-display fingerprint scanner, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The handset has Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset is paired with 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD slot, under the hood. The phone runs ZTE’s own MiFavor 10 based on Android 10 out of the box and houses 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0+ support.
In the camera department, the ZTE Axon 11 5G features a quad-rear camera setup. The setup comprises of a 64MP main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide snapper, a 2MP macro cam, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone’s front camera sports a 20MP shooter on the front for selfies and video calling.
