5G and foldable smartphones seem to be the buzzword at this year’s MWC 2019 being held in Barcelona, Spain. After Samsung, Xiaomi and Huawei, ZTE has now announced its own 5G flagship called Axon 10 Pro 5G at the event today. Along with the 5G-enabled flagship, the company has also launched the selfie-centric smartphone – Blade V10.
ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G and Blade V10 price, availability
ZTE didn’t reveal the pricing of both these smartphones at the event. However, the brand revealed that the Axon 10 Pro 5G will be available for sale in Europe and China in first half of 2019. To this measure, ZTE has announced that it has partnered with international carriers for 5G testing. The Blade V10, on the other hand, will go for sale in China and European/Latin American countries starting March, 2019. The exact pricing and availability details will be known closer to the release date.
ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G specifications
As of now, nothing much is known about the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G except for the render above. We can see that the handset will have a waterdrop notch display and an under-display fingerprint scanner. On the performance front, ZTE has confirmed that the flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset, which comes with X50 5G modem. The company also revealed that the handset will flaunt a triple rear camera with AI-backed features. Unfortunately, the company has not revealed other details of the phone at this moment.
ZTE Blade V10 specifications
The ZTE Blade V10 is the second smartphone after the Vivo V15 Pro (review) to come with a massive 32-megapixel shooter on the front, possible with same Samsung Bright ISOCELL GM1 sensor. The handset ships with a 6.3-inch, Full-HD+ display with the waterdrop notch and 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The performance is handled by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz, however, the company has not revealed the make of the chipset. The phonemaker is offering the Blade V10 in two configurations – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB.
In the imaging department, the Blade V10 sports 16-megapixel primary shooter backed by a 5-megapixel sensor on the rear panel. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel for security. The phone boots Android 9 Pie out of the box and is powered by 3,200mAh battery.
