The mamorino smartwatch is designed to help parents track the whereabouts of their children. There’s also a Curfew feature, which is an alarm that notifies your kids when they are out past the curfew time. The device can be used as either a watch or pendant. It comes with a 1.4-inch TFT LCD display, which automatically adjusts the brightness depending on its surroundings.

Parents can stay connected with their kids through voice-calls or SMS, and can search for the smartwatch’s location in a dedicated smartphone app, thanks to the inbuilt GPS. Children can also use voice-commands to operate the device with speech recognition powered by Nuance’s Dragon Speech. It is backed by a 410mAh battery, which delivers around three hours of talk time and 130 hours of standby time.

The mamorino smartwatch will be available by end-March in Japan through KDDI and Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company. There’s no word regarding the price of the device at the moment.
