Duo konsol game handheld terbaru hasil kolaborasi Asus-Microsoft, ROG Xbox Ally dan ROG Xbox Ally X, kini telah resmi hadir di Indonesia lewat acara peluncuran yang digelar di Jakarta, Kamis (23/10/2025).
Kedua perangkat sebenarnya sudah bisa dibeli secara terbatas di toko-toko Asus Store dan ROG Store mulai minggu lalu. 91Mobiles Indonesia juga telah menjajal kedua perangkat dalam sesi hands-on yang digelar oleh Asus, seperti dapat dilihat dalam artikel di tautan berikut.
Asus memasarkan ROG Xbox Ally seharga Rp 9.999.000. Sementara, ROG Xbox Ally X yang diposisikan lebih tinggi dihargai Rp 14.999.000. Masing-masing konsol tersedia dalam varian warna tunggal, yaitu putih untuk ROG Xbox Ally dan hitam untuk ROG Xbox Ally X.

Desain dan tampilan serba Xbox
Lewat kolaborasi dengan Microsoft, Asus kini merombak desain ROG Ally dan Ally X menjadi lebih ergonomis dengan rancangan controller bergagang mirip konsol game Xbox.
Satu tambahan yang ada di rangkaian tombol sisi kiri adalah tombol Xbox yang bisa ditekan untuk memunculkan menu Game bar. Tombol ini juga bisa ditekan dan ditahan (long press) untuk memanggil Task Switcher, apabila pengguna ingin berpindah aplikasi.
Command Canter dan Armoury Crate SE kini diintegrasikan ke dalam Game Bar. Armoury Crate SE bisa dgunakan untuk beberapa hal seperti mengatur pencahayaan ring light di sekeliling stik analog dan kustomisasi fungsi tombol-tombol yang ada di perangkat.
Kedua perangkat merupakan konsol game handheld berbasis sistem operasi Windows 11 Home. Tampilannya secara default adalah full-screen Xbox experience yang mengoptimalkan resource OS untuk bermain game, mirip mode Big Screen di Steam OS.
Di tampilan Xbox full-screen tersebut, pengguna biisa mengakses aneka game yang terpasang di perangkat dari berbagai toko game store, termasuk di luar Xbox seperti Steam, Battle.net, Epic Games, dan GOG sehingga tak perlu repot berpindah-pindah aplikasi. Apabila diinginkan, pengguna juga bisa beralih ke tampilan penuh Windows 11 seperti konsol Ally sebelumnya.
Spesifikasi ROG Xbox Ally dan Ally X
Baik ROG Xbox Ally maupun Ally X sama-sama dibekali layar IPS LCD 7 inci (1.920 x 1.080) dengan refresh rate 120 Hz, tingkat kecerahan 500 nits, dukungan AMD FreeSync Premium, cakupan color space sRGB 100 persen dan lapisan kaca pelindung Gorilla Glass Victus.
Rangkaian tombol kendali di keduanya mencakup tombol view, tombol menu, L&R Hall Effect analog triggers, L&R bumpers, D-pad, Command Center Button, Armoury Crate Button, tombol ABXY, 2x assignable grip buttons, dan 2x stik analog full-size, berikut HD haptics dan Gyro 6-axis IMU.
ROG Xbox Ally dan Ally X juga mendukung konektivitas WiFi 6E dan Bluetooth 5.2, serta mengisi baterai lewat adapter 65 watt dengan konektor USB tipe C.
Meskipun tampilan dan beberapa spesifikasinya mirip, lantaran harganya berselisih cukup jauh, terdapat perbedaan hardware yang signifikan antara kedua konsol game, seperti dalam hal prosesor yang digunakan dan jenis port USB C. Selengkapnya bisa disimak dalam tabel di bawah.
