This flipkart and ifb are literally cheating the customers they are providing defective quality machines with scratches and non functional things . Do not buy from them
Great Product from IFB - apart from the best in class features and reliability in Front Loading the design and look is also classy.
Good product. Works as described. Flipkart delivery and pick up old machine was on schedule. The IFB installation guy also came on time and was courteous. Did not force us to buy anything though he did inform that products like stand and liquid detergent were available from them. After using for about two weeks, I can say machine is an improvement on last generation ones in that the washing cycles are slightly shorter and consumes less water. Large door helps put bigger clothes like bed-sheets and curtains in easily. The dispenser trays are also better designed so there's no residue of detergent left. There's an optional attachment that enables use of liquid detergent. Its drum capacity though seems slightly less than old IFB Senator 6kg machine that it replaced. The controls seem microprocessor-based instead of electro-mechanical ones in earlier ones. Overall though, more use of plastic parts so appears less sturdy. Our earlier machine lasted 18 years and was still working. Keeping fingers crossed whether this one will go that long.
I ordered this waching machine on 10th October 2017 and was delivered on 11 th October. The IFB service technician visited for installation on 13th October and after installation found that the machine won't start. The knob to set the program was loose and not able to set any of washing machine program. The lights were continously blinking indicating some failure. The technician confirmed that the product was faluty and asked me if I want to get it repaired or want to return it. Since it was a manufacturing defect I opted for replacement. I had immediately asked for replacement by clicking on the orders from Flipkart page. I also called Flipkart informing the same. Flipkart person asked me to wait till 20 October for yet another technician visit. Since I had returned my old washing machine in exchange offer I was left with no washing machine and requested Flipkart to speed up the process. Flipkart promised to resolve the issue before Diwali. Nothing happened after this till 19th October. I called Flipkart twice on 19th and they asked me to wait till 20th. Nothing happened on 20th. I called Flipkart again on 21st and they are now asking me to wait till 25. I also tried to contact IFB regarding the same. They refused to provide any help and asked me to contact Flipkart. Even after 11 days of order I was still awaiting that technician visit which has no meaning as product was declared faulty by IFB technician in the first visit itself. Again nothing happened till 25th October. Flipkart mentioned that as per IFB earlier technician visit was cancelled by me and hence they did conduct it. (Now this is surprising!) Flipkart scheduled another visit. This time the technician visited and mentioned there is a fault in PCB which needs to be replaced and told me he will inform Flipkart about it. Later on nothing happend till 27th October. Flipkart called me to confirm if technician visit has happened as IFB did not sent the official confirmation about product being faulty. Finally Flipkart agreed to replace the machine even without official confirmation from IFB. The delivery from Flikpart after this was very fast. They promised to install till 30th. But actual installation and demo happened on 31st October. So it took 21 days and numerous phone calls to get the machine installed finally. Overall it seems that the local IFB dealers who provide IFB service are not happy with online retailers like Flipkart selling products to their customers and intentionally create problems for customers purchasing product online via Flipkart. At the time of installtion IFB technician insisted on purchasing trolley which he brought with him inspite of me having a trolley ordered online from official IFB site. The technician asked me to return the trolley back from where I ordered it and asked me to purchase the one they had.
Well as always great experience with flipkart, product was delivered on promised date in perfect packaging. The demo/installation was also arranged by flipkart and IFB guy called me the very next day for the same. The demo/installation was great and all my queries were answered to my expectations. Also as i read in other reviews the IFB guy did inform me about the recommended products like stand, detergents, cover etc. but didnt push me at all to buy them. As far as the washing machine is concerned, i m quite happy with it. The wash quality is really great and clothes come out clean as new, not kidding! This is when till now i have only had 5 wash cycles and for all i used the quick 30 program. Need to try other programs and see the results. The product is stable without the stand and there is hardly any noise or vibration during operation. Totally recommended!
