Phone study and review

The Iris pro 20 is the younger brother to the Iris pro 30. As the younger sibling, is it really worth it or have Lava removed too much from their much loved smart phone and left it crippled under the weight of expectation? Let’s find out. Design and hardware The Lava Iris pro 20 look exactly like the pro 30 and that’s a very good thing. The pro 30 was a brilliant looking device and the pro 20 gets to inherit the same genes. The phone has a svelte design with gorilla glass front, metal sides and a rubbery back panel that adds grip. The phone also shares such of the same hardware such as the 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor, 4.7 inch IPS screen, 4 GB of ROM, 1 GB RAM and a 8 MP primary camera. The only difference being that the screen is a qHD screen with a resolution of 960x540 and the front facing camera is a VGA camera. Camera The 8 MP camera is the same as that on the Iris Pro 30 that is super awesome as the quality is quite awesome and the pictures look absolutely fantastic. The dual LED flash at the back really helps to briten pictures taken during the night. The front facing camera is a VGA camera and it isn’t as good as the 2 MP unit on the pro 30 but to be honest i don’t use the front facing camera that much anyway. Battery The phone comes with a 2000 mAh battery that is more than enough for the phone. The battery easily lasts more than a day and with heavy use, you can get a day of use out of it. Conclusion The Lava Iris Pro 20 may only be the phones younger brother, but most of the specifications are the same except for the display and front facing camera. I’d say that if those matter to you then buy the Pro 30 other wise, the Pro 20 should be enough for everyday use.
