Worth the money

So I bought this Laptop and i was pretty anxious whether or not will it be good. nnBut I looks great.. it's sleek and light weight. nWorks pretty well, with AMD6 processor it's giving a good competition to other Intel Processors. nI am not sure if it works well for heavy work.. it's more of a Home Laptop or personal laptop an wouldn't be suitable for heavy office work. nnAll in all.. i am happy with this product! nFlipkart delivered it safely and on time and as I had requested it as a Gift packed as it was a gift for my Mom, it went pretty well! nnThank you, Flipkart!

Very Good

Received the laptop today. Though flipkart didn't delivered the product through its usual ekart logistics courier service & used 'ecomm express' service to deliver my product. Same product they deliver in the city close to me with their own service.nnAnyway by using it for just an hour, I have the verdict as follows:nnPros:n1. Sleeky lookn2. Egronomic Designn3. Full sized Island keyboard, though its not backlit but keys like caps & num lock have a small LED light to indicate their 0/1 mode.n4. Windows 10 Home edition preinstalled.n5. MS Office 16 (I think its 16 not 13) preinstalled.n6. Packaging was good.n7. McAfe Antivirus w/ full protection has been provided for a year.n8. Single 3.5 mm headset jack like in mobiles & macbook.n9. 180 degree hinges works a treat. You know laptops just loose their hinges after 2-3 years & they are also not a piece of cake to get repaired but having an 180 degree one is good and makes your device robust to day to day hazards.nnnnCons:n1. Camera provided is not an HD one, now a days, most of the entry level laptops do come w/ an HD camera.n2. There should be 2 USB 2.0 ports at least (so that one can easily connect external mouse/keyboard), but only 1 is given plus a USB 3.0 port though.n3. Though AMD APU A6 is a Quad Core processor but it can't make up w/ Intel i series. But still its an entry level lappi which makes this lappi a steal even if there is an AMD processor.n4. The lappi did lag at some times. When i opened a lenovo installed app it lagged. Further i opened taskmgr & saw that whole of the 500 GB (literally somewhat less than 500) HDD was consumed by that program which made that prog to lag & made other processes slow.n5. The touchpad is little rough. I mean being an ex-ideapad G570 user i felt it hard to use my hand on it as my ex-lappi's touch was such a smooth one. But i think if you are new to laptops you must get used to it or you just won't feel anything annoying in touchpad. If so, please get an external USB mouse which might cost you 150-200 INR.n6. There is no recovery DVD/CD or anything provided. But lenovo had made an another drive D: having your lappi's drivers. (So if you get this lappi, take backup of that folder, as it is a tough job to get drivers on net). Also, they give you A lappi + A charger + A user manual kind of paper + A lenovo service center list paper; & nothing else but a rigid packaging.n7. Again a common problem w/ preinstalled Windows lappis, which i think is of no matter to many of us but a few like me care for that. It has only 1 drive i.e. C: which is 400+ GB & when moslty filled makes your laptop laggy. So you better make another partition by some tools like EasyPart (if they allow you to do so) to have Windows on C: & your personal data on other drives like D: , E: etc. & make your lappi less laggy in future.n8. Lastly, the delivery time was too much...! It took a hell week to reach this product here.nnUpdate:n9. Actually it has a 3 cell battery (written on box), not a 4 cell as mentioned in info here.nnnAnyway, I'll update this post soon when i use this laptop further. Today is just the first day.
