I purchased the Lenovo Yoga 13 after a lot of research. And truth be told, when I opened the box and started working with it, it was an awesome experience. The SSD hard drive made the device very fast; convertible was fun, zippy, brilliantly designed; the multiple modes gave a playing with Swiss army knife like feeling, Windows Touch was fun... And then within 2 weeks - disaster stuck. The laptop screen - flimsy as it was - showed hairline cracks ON ITS OWN. The touchscreen was rendered useless. I know you might find it difficult to believe - how can a laptop screen beak without any mishandling - but trust me, this is exactly what happened. Also when I went online & checked Lenovo Yoga 13 common problems, I found that lots users had the same experience - the screen cracked on its own without any mishandling. Team Flipkart were kind enough to offer a refund. Have used Lenovo before and I like their products - and an awesome convertible with all features is worth the money but if you put so many features in a very small space, something gives - and unfortunately its the touch screen that gives. RIGHT NOW AVOID ALL LAPTOP CONVERTIBLES till the product reaches steadiness and they make the screen stronger!
They have come up with a new charger design which sucks. You move charger a bit and it disconnects. It is very annoying and time-consuming
Nice laptop, with good deal. Received in time, all detail are same as mentioned on site. Though prices were fluctuating on daily basis which i dont understand why? but overall it was wonderful experience.
I am typing this review using my new Laptop, Lenovo Ideapad Y13 Ci5, the product is an excellent choice. This is my first order on Fiipkart, the concept of seller and the service provider is an excellent handshake, recd. in 5 days and reviewing after 2 months. Everyday, I spend a good time using Yoga 13 after coming back from office. My review itself should show my feelings are ‘How happy and satisfied I am choosing this product – the technical spec is allover the websites’. However, I recommend this product to anyone who want a laptop/touch screen/tablet experience in one go.... :-) ?
" I love my Yoga. I have online courses I'm taking. Perfect. Movies. Perfect. Music. Perfect. Well...its just perfect. Some people complain about the weight..seriously, folks? This thing weighs nothing. Its so easy to carry along with you. I went from a windows 7 machine to the Windows 8 . It took some getting used to. Not the Yoga's fault just something to learn. Now that I'm used to it, I have no problems navigating and the excellent touch pad on the Yoga makes things so flawless. The hinge is sturdy and holds well in all positions. The Yoga feels built well and the textures make it easy to grip. You won't feel like you're going to drop it or that its going to fall apart."
