This is a heck of a laptop for the price for which i got it via Flipkart. Pros: a) Superb performance. b) Light weight, sleek and slim, very easy to carry. c) The folding screen is a great feature to have, be it for a video call or a watching movies. d) Good loud speakers. Cons: a)Battery backup with auto screen brightness came to almost 6 hours, with full gaming mode and brightness its around 2.5 - 3 hrs. So as mentioned a back up of 9 Hrs is not possible and this is not an ultra book. b)Doesn't come with an optical drive, so have to spare another 1500/- for an external DVD drive.
Very happy with it. The hardware configuration is best at the given budget. Everything works perfectly. The display is bright when auto adjustment is turned off. Battery backup is around 4-5 hours. Touch is very responsive and the sound is much better than I expected out of an ultrabook. The 300 degree flexibility is useful too, though as a review said, the device is way better than the rest even without the gimmicks. Still have to experience the Nvidea graphics and core i5's turboboost. Looking out for good games. Lenovo parts and accessories are cheaper being Chinese and is now good at customer care.
I've been using this laptop for 4 months now. I am very satisfied with its performance till now. Pros: 1. Boots up really fast (SSD helps) 2. Nice speakers 3. Portable 4. Light weight 5. No hang or getting slow issues 6. Touchscreen is good & responsive (Although not of much use as it doesn't fold completely like the yoga ) Some Cons: 1. I've not been able to get the perfect brightness levels yet, hampers movie exp. 2. I personally didn't like the trackpad. (touchscreen can compensate) 3 Maybe a problem with my laptop only , it sometimes restart with a blue scree and displays it as Driver_power_state_failure. I called lenovo helpline and they say it is a fault with vendors app, so they can't help. But overall considering the price. I feel it is a good buy. for 46k
Bought this laptop from the Flipkart website. It's a nice sleek machine with sufficient power for normal day-to-day tasks- MS Office, surfing the web, etc .It has good quality in built speakers and decent webcam. This is my first touch screen laptop and I must say I am pleased with the way it works and responds to touch. It takes a little to get used to the touch functionality but this is the way all laptops are heading (due to the popularity of tablets. Would certainly recommend this laptop to others.
The Ideapad Flex 14 is an ultrabook designed for mainstream users. Assuming U've already gone thru the spec. sheet anf wondering if u shud go for it or not. The answer in my geeky opinion is "JUST GO FOR IT". Everything's great Gen 4 Core i5 GEForce 620M, Touchscreen + Traditional Laptop+ 500G+8G Hybrid Drive.. It's a rockstar of a laptop. My only Gripe: (2 actually) -> Only 1 USB 3.0 Port (Another one would be sweet :D ) -> No Stylus. If anyone's come across a workin stylus for this one).Do lemme know.
