Two false claims : 1) Battery lasts for only 3 hours as opposed to 5 hrs claim. 2) The laptop weighs 2.1 kg and not 1.8 kg.
it is 1 month and no issue. Superb touch screen, Sound quality could have been better,otherwise value for money.
I got this laptop from E-zone as they had some shopping offers combined with some other FMCG chains. Firstly, the laptop is an extremely well-built laptop. It has a island type of keyboard that is very responsive and the touchpad is also quite responsive. The touchscreen is also very smooth The battery, on full charge, in normal mode (there is a battery conservation mode as well) lasts about 5 hours with continuous internet, video playing through Youtube and from the external HDD. The Dolby digital sound is fantastic.It beats that crap from Dell (Beats Audio) hands down. However, there is one lacuna. One week into my buying this product i noticed a problem with my keyboard. On calling customer service, they asked for some photos of the keyboard which I sent. They agreed to replace the keyboard. The fun of this was, from the time I raised the complaint to the time it was resolved, Lenovo took 12 days. Yes, 12 freaking days. And in those 12 days, there was absolutely no update as to what the status was. That said, the laptop itself is very good and customer service should not get in the way of buying this winner. Go for it.
I ordered the above mentioned product from snapdeal and this was my first purchase from the snapdeal.. Firstly i recieved the delivery of product in 10 days which was way too much.. When i recieved the laptop, on close scruitny i found that its not the same product i ordered. I ordered for a i5 processor laptop and they sent me an i3 one which was around 19k cheaper from the one i ordered.. I filed complaint and asked for a replacement which again took around 5 days to get the product checked and picked up from my place. When i was expecting the delivery of my product finally the seller cancelled my order quoting that they do not have the product and they are going to initiate a refund.. This again took 7 days more to get the refund of more than 50k.. So basically snapdeal wasted more than 20 days and still did not delivered my product and blocked my money.. totally disappointed and never gonna purchase anything from snapdeal ever..
Since i selected urgent delivery option, i received the product in less than 24 hrs. Awesome delivery. Product was well packed. About laptop... it is a nice built, no heating problem, touch and feel is great. I havent use it much, so cannot say much about performance on heavy use. I upgraded to win 10 which is also very smooth on this laptop. Recommended.
