Great or sluggish laptop very much depending on one's usage

There is a lot to like with this laptop with few conditions apply that may or may not be a deal breaker depending on what is expected from the laptop convertible. 1. Built is very solid with tight manufacturing tolerances. Inhand feel is quite assuring and easily gives a premium feeling. Although material is plastic but quality of plastic is very high like what was used in Lumia 920 or Htc One X phones. This is by far the highest rated feature of this product. 2. Screen is excellent. Intended for strictly indoor use, brightness is very good. Contrast and black levels are a bit low which sadly cant be fixed with a color calibration. But the quality of display is easily leaps and bounds higher than anything from competitors at this price range. Even screens of laptops pricier than 50k sometimes dont have such displays. Colors are not accurate however and calibration is required to fix them. Best option is to view the same picture in recognized displays like iPhone 7 or iPad Pro or Galaxy s8 and try to match the colors with that. 3. 4gigs ram is enough for only light weight usage. Anything more than internet browsing, movie playback and light photo manipulation, light productivity usage and such will cause app switching frustrating with the longer load times. This is an important parameter for selection of this laptop. 4. Above case holds true for the processor which is by far the weakest link of the hardware. The processor can provide a fluent experience only for light weight usage mentioned above. Run Photoshop or AuroraHDR or Indesign and such and experience gets very sluggish. The processor is strictly meant for casual computing and laptop feels very responsive and excellent if such is the case. Lightroom ran fine though. Lightroom wasn't best but it was tolerable considering the price of hardware. 5. One surprising advantage of the processor is in graphics processing. AMD A9 7th gen integrated GPU is better than a comparable i5 7th gen integrated GPU of double the price. This becomes evident during high bit rate movie playback and multimedia binge watching and OS animations and such. This makes the CPU package bearable and acceptable. 6. Keyboard is nice though if typing is a priority then lack of direct PageUp, PageDn, Home and End buttons can be annoying. Tactility of buttons is great. Its backlit also. 7. Touchpad is livable. Just an average quality Windows machine touchpad. 8. Speakers sound clear but extremely tinny. Even phone speakers sound loud than this. 9. Battery is decent. 5-6 hours of casual computing. 10. Benefits of convertibles are also available from this laptop. Tablet mode however makes sense while using it on couch or bed as holding it by hand gets uncomfortable due to the weight. Rest is very good. Overall, It is a no brainer steal if you get if for less than 29k until Intel 8th Gen processors become more mainstream and 7th Gen i3 gets discounted.

Two Stars

It's been 14 days and Main and worst problem of this laptop is it's excessively slow. The AMD A9 7th gen processor can't even do multitasking. And if there any background app is running then it will be as bad as hell. 4gb RAM but not enough even nothing enough. Sometimes it needs minimum time of around a miniute to open browsers or my computer etc.nnLook and finishing is good.nBacklit keyboard has premium look.nTouchpad is ok.nSound is nice, gives u the 2.0 sorround sound.n360 degree convertable but takes time to convert internally, means from windows to tab.nHeats up quickly, even when watching youtube.nI didn't take risk by playing games, don't know about that.nProcessor and RAM, as I said, bad bad bad -_- 👎nnMaybe the i3 version works better but I took it for budget but now I have to upgrade RAM -_- hope it will be fast after that.nnPeople praise it by look but I scold it by performance. 👎 *_#
