Core i5 with 4GB ram performs quite well under normal conditions. I purchased this only for Full HD screen, but now I feel Full HD screen on 14 inch laptop is overkill. If zoom set to 100%, fonts look very small. I would suggest to have at least 15 inch laptop if you want full hd screen. nnThe backpack supplied looks cheap.nnThree features which are not mentioned in specs page are -n1. Specs say that this doesn't have optical drive, but actually it has optical drive. n2. Has finger print scanner.n3. CPU Z shows that it has 4 memory slots and 3 are free. Very good if you are looking to upgrade RAM.nnPros:n1. Full HD under 40kn2. Compact and light weight.n3. Two USB 3.0 ports. Much newer Lenovo Z50 series has only one.n4. Fingerprint scanner. Much easier to unlock the laptop.nnCons:n1. No graphics card.n2. Charging cable is short.n3. I was expecting it to be Intel WiDi compatiable, but its not. A major disappointment though it has core i5 processor.
Awesome product, I haven't faced any issues so far except the battery backup. I am getting around one and half hours battery backup

Good screen resolution, good HDD storage. Bought the laptop for home use, comes with Windows 8.1 Home 64-Bit. One would think this is a screaming fast, but the Win 8.1 Home with2 users logged in is terribly slow to start and switch between users. The accuview keyboard is 'plastic-kee' and sucks. Difficult when you are used to the better chicklet style keyboard. something Lenovo needs to get right.nnLenovo also preloads a bunch of software which can be irritating. Eg te Nitro PDF isnt the best and fastest as compared to the Abode PDF reader. So are the image viewers from Lenovo. Having to change out of the box settings is a pain, and one needs to do these changes across user accounts.
I got the laptop from Flipkart at 40K it was delivered the next day as I am I Delhi. It is a i5 version with 4GB ram. It has 2 RAM slots and also both are populated. The body seems good and sturdy not cheap. The keyboard is bouncy and touchpad is also very responsive and multi touch. I updated all the drivers and then there was no issues. The display was crisp and I had no issues playing any games like Asphalt etc. I also played full HD movies and downloaded at 3G speeds for 4 days no issues I found till now. I used NOVO keys to get to the BIOS a new feature. The adapter connector is rectangle like USB yellow in color. Its takes very less power maybe 40W. Webcam is not too good. Fingerprint scanner work great with Win8.1. 2 year extra warranty was cool and no issues with registration. The bag quality was just ok not good. There is a hidden partition with system image so you can use one key recovery to recover entire system hence no Windows disk is provided. You have to download all drivers hence no resource cd as well.
