Nice Laptop with great features

I must say that when I ordered this laptop I was in a dilemma about the product features and performance. But the product is perfect daily use laptop. You can trust this brand as well as the laptop if you are looking for a daily use laptop.

Budget Friendly but not for gamers

When talking about this laptop, the first thing that solves most queries related to durability and quality is to highlight the fact that it's a ThinkPad, the original IBM series. I bought this almost an year ago so I can give you a detailed review. Display: 14" screen makes it an 'easy-enough' display which bundles the portability by being a bit smaller than the other Edge variant, e530. Weight: It is average when we talk about weight, I guess a little lighter than the corresponding Z series of IdeaPad. Battery Backup: The battery in the inital stages would give you great results, I experienced 7 hours for 3 days in a row! But if you don't handle it good it would come down to 4 hours in no time. But I guess you know that the battery needs to handeled well if you wish good results. I still get around 5 hours. Durability: I am not out of my warranty period yet! But still it all looks promising with zero scractches, no loss of paint, no physical damage in almost 1 year, I hope it is quite durable. But well that can be a reward of my handling maybe, but still the parts are high quality and quite robust and a Business series laptop is far more durable than the consumer line (IdeaPad). So when buying a thinkpad never worry about durability. Looks: Something I love! I don't like those glossy laptops, they look irritating. The matte look makes the user feel like using a classy thing, and not something that's common with everybody. Gamers: The only problem is that there is no room for a dedicated GPU in case you wish to upgrade at a later stage. You have to rely on the Intel HD Graphics alone. So gamers! e430 should not be anything in your wishlist. I don't know if they added an option to add a Graphic Card now so maybe you experience differently when you buy. Do research about this one before buying. Everyday Users(NOT GAMING): e430 is the BEST choice and worth every penny! it is a better choice than consumer line IdeaPad, or Pavilion g6, or Inspiron(I don't know about XPS or dv6 so I'd not comment). Spend a little extra over that IdeaPad and buy yourself a Thinkpad, a complete package of Class, Quality, Durability and Amazingness!
