Its a perfect machine that I expected, light weight, good audio sound, faster performance, low heat generator,cute look, minimized keyboard space with lesser keys having all features, good battery backup almost 4 hrs it may go longer as well. Touch pad may make you feel little uncomfortable as you are used to the default regular pad as of now. But after using it I am used to this as well. But yes I am not happy with its webcam, clarity/pixel is not enough, it should have of more advanced camera looking at the laptop cost. More over I am happy with its high quality performance.
I been using Dell inspiron for home usage from long time, and the reason for moving to lenovo was the poor battery life of dell after laptop completes 1 year mark. lenovo turnout to be a even better performer. its battery life has come down to less then 2Hrs from 4+ Hrs just after 10 months of usage. apart from this, everything works fine, i mean what else you can get at this price?
Initially I planned to buy Lenovo Thinkpad L440. But due to its unavailability I have to buy this. The price in flipkart is very cheap compared to Chadni Market of Kolkata (the main electronics market of Kolkata) where I have to buy it for 47K. Here are Pros and Cons:- Pros:- 1) Speed is very good 2) Feather touch Keypad 3) Finger Print Reader 4) Quick Startup 5) 2 Nos U.S.B 3 and 1 No U.S.B. 2 Cons:- 1) Battery life 5 hours without Bluetooth, low brightness, without wi-fi and also lan connection. While all these are on battery life reduces to 4 hours 2) No indication while battery is charging 3) There is a thinkpad bag free of cost with this product. Dont Know why flipkart is not giving that. 4) No driver CD. All you have to download the drivers from Lenovo website. 5) WebCam is good for chatting but not for conference.Its not a HD webcam. 6) Last but not the least it is not MST certified compared to Thinkpad L series.Not for site work.
The battery backup stands only for 3 hours. The seller has mentioned as 6 hours.
Added features of mSATA SSD slot and SIM card slot makes this laptop worth
research. compare. buy.
