This is an excellent system for business and work. Notably it has an antiglare display which is becoming a rarity these days. I liked that it comes preinstalled with Windows 7. It has dual vents which increase airflow and minimize heating. Speakers yield comfortable sound for a closed room. Nice array of ports and I have been using it seamlessly as a desktop replacement with external keyboard and monitor. Very good value for money.
I recently purchased Lenovo ThinkPad E431. Very competitive price and product delivered within time. In out side market retailers are not able to match Flipkart price hence giving false reasons like it will not cover under India Warranty. It's all false. After receiving product I wrote to Lenovo support and in 4 days they registered under warranty. Now I can see it online on Lenovo support website.nnHowever, the free accessories are of sub-standard and not up to the mark. Only focus on main product and it's price while making decision to buy.
Initially there was a confusion with the software version...but hats off to the Flipkart team.....they solved everything....
Lenovo E431 at this price is a steal. I had enquired at retail stores - the minimum quote I got was of Rs. 51,000. So at 47K is worth every penny (plus as a complimentary one also gets lenovo laptop bag, philips headphone & a dell mouse). You just can't beat flipkart.nnPrice is one factor, but not the only one. Luckily this laptop scores everywhere. I did a lot of research before making my mind on this laptop. This one is the best for someone who wants to use laptop for both home & office. (Of course for gaming you need to look at other options)nnIt has one of the best keyboards, ideal for working/typing at length. Plus Lenovo has introduced a new touchpad - letting go with the right & left click & having five finger touch points. This may make you somewhat unconformable at start (for as humans we are tend to resist change) - but eventually as you get used to this new touchpad is likely to give you more space & options. nnOne of the best thing about this laptop is it comes pre-installed with Windows 7 Professional (with separate CDs if one wants to install Windows 8 Professional). Like many others, I have never been comfortable with Windows 8 - so this was God send.nnThe speakers are decent enough (dolby sound). The laptop looks sturdy & cool. The batter life is also good enough to last for a period of close to 4.5 hours.nnThis laptop comes with Lenovo's innovative OneLink technology. One needs to buy OneLink Doc separately which literally makes the laptop a multimedia hub where one can enjoy movies, audio & other stuff. OneLink deliver super-fast data transfers with USB 3.0, crystal-clear HD audio and video through HDMI,nnI have been using it for past three days & I believe that I have made the right choice by going for this laptop. nnAnd it goes without saying, the laptop was delivered within 2 days of ordering along with the complimentary headphone & mouse.
The ThinkPad Edge E431 model promises more than enough power and performance for hard working and daily multimedia multitasks.nExcellent Keyboard, No-Nonsense Keys, Large Touchpad, installed Windows 7 pro and optional windows 8 pro installation option add to the icing on the cake.nThe Laptop comes with a HM77 chipset unlike as mentioned in the spec sheet. So, u can remain assured of the the latest technologies from Intel are out there in your hands.nThe sound is decent, the DVD Rambo drive is great and the HD cam serves the requisite purpose. nU can do away with some bloatware which comes installed with the laptop. nGot it for 45k with EMI option making it a steal for me as compared to prevailing market prices of over 52k out there in lenovo stores. Have been using it for over a week now and it Runs as smooth as butter without any issues.
