Excellent machine!! Loved the thinkpad series and this one is another feather in cap. This Edge model is really slim without optical drive and VGA port. Has 1 port USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 with 1 HDMI port. Its a robust build sleek machine with powerhouse performance. nPros :n1. Spill proof keyboard-smooth in operation.n2. Very Sleek(Edge Model)n3. Weight actually approx 1.85 KGn4. Anti Glare HD displayn5. Finger scanner-can store up to 10 scans with Lenovo finger reader application.n6. Approx 4.5 Hours backup with Li-ion battery.nnCons:n1. No indicator LED for charging,Not even in charger. and No LED for Caps Lock/Num Lock/HDD etc. Only LED is on thinkpad logo.(I actually don't consider it as con!).nnDidn't find more than this which could be listed under cons!! nHighly recommended for professionals.
I have ordered the laptop from Lenovo store for 32100/- 2 months back and been using the laptop since then. All I can say, it is awesome. Battery backup more than 6 hours with continues wifi usage. No heating problem.nnJust go for it....!!
I have already purchased 2 from the same seller from flipkart. nnI have already used E420 and E430, so I fully trust these thinkpads, I used them for over 5 years and they are still working fine. i3 with 4 GB is decent to start with I have upgraded it to 12GB. For thinkpad to work fine always make sure you change the cooling pad which is present below the fans and also get the dust cleaned, normal service centers charge Rs 400 per service. nNothing will happen to your thinkpads even after 5 years of rough use.
Sleek, mat finish, and compact. Got it for Rs.31780.nProblem: the keyboard frame was not correctly slipped-in.
